  • Purpose:
    Provision of Architectural, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Structural Engineering services for the implementation of the occupational health and safety maintenance projects on various health facilities in the East Corridor, which consisted of the following health facilities: Bertha Gxowa Hospital, Tambo Memorial Hospital, Pholosong Hospital, Far east Rand Hospital and Tembisa Hospital
  • Scope:

    The project entailed conducting condition assessments to determine the status quo of the infrastructure in the above health facilities and provide design solutions to address the occupational health and safety non-compliance in the facilities (Fire Risk Assessment, Aesthetic Assessment and Fit-for-Purpose” Assessment) The project entailed assessing all the infrastructure within the health facilities premises, inclusive of the main hospital building, ancillary buildings, staff quarters, gate houses, etc.
