GladAfrica Group statement

15 August 2018

GladAfrica Group has noted the statement of clarification made by the City of Tshwane this morning, regarding processes undertaken in the appointment of the Programme Management Unit (PMU). We are vindicated by the city’s declaration that the appointment process was above board and no irregularities were committed.

Our impeccable track record of successfully implementing similar projects for a range of public and private sector clients put us in good stead to be considered for the City of Tshwane PMU project. The Group has over 200 technical and professional practitioners nationwide and is adequately resourced to fulfil the requirements of the projects we are appointed to implement.

We always strive to conduct business with our clients in ways that uphold best ethical practices and high standards of professionalism. We are not averse to being scrutinised because we have confidence in our processes and capacity to deliver the quality of services required by our clients. The City of Tshwane has made available documentary evidence of the entire process leading to our appointment and these documents are accessible in the City Manager’s office as indicated in his statement.

The Group remains committed to upholding and promoting our founding values of Integrity, Accountability, Commitment, Diligence and Respect in the course of doing business with all our stakeholders.
