Purpose:
Development of academic and supporting infrastructure, student residential accommodation, site infrastructure and bulk infrastructure. This includes: 6 Blocks of Student Residential Accommodation, New Academic Offices, New Library, New Teaching Auditorium, New ICT Laboratories and Security Centre, further Student Residences, Health & Wellness and Sports Centre, Site Infrastructure (roads, water, sewer, electrical), Bulk Infrastructure (roads, water, sewer, electrical).
Scope:
The university is being developed over various phases from 2014 to 2024, and consists of three primary campuses, with a satellite campus. The scope includes planning, design and construction of a multi-phased, multi-campus new university located in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga to create the new University of Mpumalanga.
